Lake Lurleen State Park

Named after the late Governor Lurleen Burns Wallace, Lake Lurleen State Park is a scenic state park located on a 250 acre lake approximately 15 minutes from downtown Northport. The entire park, located just off U.S. Highway 82 on Tuscaloosa County Road 49, encompasses over 1,600 acres. Park amenities include a fully equipped campground, camp store, nature center, play and picnic areas, pavilions, swimming beach, bath house, bait and tackle shop, fishing piers, rental canoes and paddle boats. It is a family fun park ideal for spending the day or overnight camping. Lake Lurleen is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
