Second Annual Veterans Day Parade

The Veterans Day Parade, organized by the City of Northport, will pay tribute and celebrate the services of all American military veterans and provide a platform to express our deep gratitude for their commitment to defending our freedom. 

The parade will commence with an opening ceremony at 8:00 am at Tuscaloosa County High School Memorial, 2200 24th Street. Immediately following the opening ceremony, the parade is scheduled to begin at 8:30 am along Main Avenue and culminating in Downtown Northport.

In the spirit of gratitude, we encourage local businesses, schools, and community organizations to participate in the parade and show their support for our veterans. Whether it's through float decorations, customized banners, or heartfelt messages, we invite everyone to join hands and express their gratitude for the people who have selflessly protected our nation.

Application to participate in parade can be found below. If you have someone you would like to nominate to be the Grand Marshal for this year's parade, please complete the Grand Marshal nomination form below.
