The City of Northport will be closed Monday, January 18, 2021, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Monday's garbage, trash and recycling routes will be picked up on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Please help us spread the word.
The second regularly scheduled meeting for January has been changed in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. Our next Council meeting will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. There will be no pre-meeting.
The Public Input meeting for the Aquatic Park portion of the feasibility study has been rescheduled to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21st. The format will also change to a fully virtual meeting. The southern end of Main Avenue will be closed to thru traffic, including pedestrian traffic, beginning Monday, January 18th. Access will be maintained to local businesses and residences. The closure is expected to last between eight and ten weeks. Twin Oaks Road will be closed until further notice beginning Friday, June 5, 2020, at 8:30 a.m. This closure will last several months due to repairs to a culvert.
