Water Billing Office Lobby & Drive-Thru

The Water Office drive-thru is open!  The lobby will remain closed and is by appointment only.  Please pay water bills by mail, drive-thru,  online, or drop off payments in the dropbox located on the outside of the building next to the drive-thru window.  If you need immediate assistance with your bill please call 205-339-7024.  Thank you! 

 
CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19

The City of Northport encourages all individuals to follow the Statewide Covid-19 Health Order for Alabama.  A mandatory mask requirement goes into effect Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. and has been extended until August 31st at 5:00 p.m.  Please visit our COVID-19 Response page at https://www.cityofnorthport.org/departments/covid-19 for up-to-date information.

 
SPORTS COMPLEX & AQUATIC PARK FEASIBILITY STUDY

The City of Northport is currently accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Sports Complex & Aquatic Park Feasibility Study.  Professional organizations interested in submitting proposals are encouraged to download a packet and submit their RFP no later than August 11, 2020.   

 
ROAD CLOSURES

Rose Boulevard- The southbound lane of Rose Boulevard will be temporarily closed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on August 7, 2020.  Work is being performed along the shoulder of the roadway east and west of Mt. Olive Road.

Twin Oaks Road will be closed until further notice beginning Friday, June 5, 2020, at 8:30 a.m.  This closure will last several months due to repairs to a culvert. Please visit https://www.cityofnorthport.org/public-notices to view a map for the closure location and to make plans to detour around this portion of Twin Oaks Road.

 
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING CANCELLED

The Planning and Zoning Commission's regularly scheduled meeting for August 11, 2020, has been cancelled.
