  • Jay is married to the former Cathy Lee of Northport.
  • Jay & Cathy have one son, Jacob Andrew
  • Currently employed with the City of Tuscaloosa City Engineers office  

Education:
  • Jay is a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School
  • Jay attended Shelton State and The University of Alabama

Goals to Accomplish
To Continue the work we have started in our City, by governing with common sense, having honest communication, and working hard for the people of my distinct and to represent the City of Northport in a professional & efficient manner in our actions, we will:
  • Continue to improve the City’s Financial Future with our long term plan to address debt  
  • Continue to Provide the Citizens of District 2 and Northport with a higher Quality of Life with safer neighborhoods and better parks
  • Promote and attract new retail opportunities to our City and support our existing businesses
  • Promote and always look for ways to improve our City Services     
 

Poll Location: Sprayberry Regional Education Center

  • Areas located south of McFarland Blvd., east of Lurleen B. Wallace Blvd., and the areas south of 5th Street and west of 28th Avenue. This district includes Quinntown, Valley Hills, West and East Circle, and the Longview areas.

    • Councilman Logan was elected to the City Council in October, 2008.
    He is currently serving his first term.
