COUNCIL MEETINGS

The Northport City Council meets every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.

There is a City Council Pre-Meeting that takes place in the Council Conference Room at Northport City Hall at 5:00 pm. This meeting is for the City Council to meet and discuss anything that relates the City of Northport. The City Council will not vote on anything during the Pre-Meeting. It is for information gathering and discussion only.

The City Council moves to the City Council Chambers at 6:00 pm for their scheduled City Council Meeting. The agenda for these meeting is available here. All actions that require a vote of the City Council will take place during this meeting.

Both the Pre-Meeting and City Council meetings are open to the public, as required by the State of Alabama's Sunshine Laws.
