Circumstances:

Heaven Lashae Ross was last seen at around 7:03am on August 19, 2003 leaving her residence in Willowbrook Trailer Park walking to a nearby school bus stop. At the time of her disappearance Heaven was wearing a hot pink shirt with the word “Bratz” across the front, hot pink Capri pants with “Bratz” across the back, and light blue suede tennis shoes. Heaven is commonly known by the name “Shae”. An age progressed photograph has been included here showing what Heaven may look like now. Heaven is now 13 years old. Case update - December 19, 2006

The Northport Police Department regrets to announce that remains believed to be those of Heaven LaShae Ross were located on December 18, 2006 in an abandoned house in the Holt community approximately 8 miles from Shae's residence in Northport (see Tuscaloosa News story). Our thoughts and prayers are with Shae and her family as this investigation continues.
