 
PROPERTY CRIMES INVESTIGATION The Property Crimes Investigation division of the Northport Police Department is responsible for the investigation of property crimes such as Burglary, Theft, Auto Theft, Forgery, Identity Theft, and similar crimes. Consisting of five Investigators headed by Sgt. Tim Sullivan, personnel assigned to the division are responsible for crime scene processing, evidence collection and custody maintenance, and case preparation. Investigators work both day and evening shifts Monday through Friday to provide maximum accessibility to victims.
