 Northport Comprehensive Plan

City of Northport
Comprehensive Plan

The Comprehensive Plan is the main guide for growth and development in the City and looks 10 to 15 years into the future.  The plan also helps guide the priorities for and allocation of City staffing and other resources.  This Plan will address several topics including land use, circulation, conservation, open space, capital improvements and other issues of importance to the community.

At each monthly meeting, City of Northport staff and consultants will ask participants to discuss what they like about Northport today and what areas need improvement.  They will also be asked to describe goals that the City should aim for in the future.

“These meetings are designed for residents to have the chance to give their input on how the City grows,” said Flora Gay, Northport’s Planning and Community Development Director.

Northport residents are invited to attend a town hall meeting at 6:00 p.m. on each third Tuesday at the Northport Civic Center to give their input on the Comprehensive Plan the City is currently updating.
