HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR BILL

Example based on Residential Service with 5/8 x 3/4 inch Meter connection.

1. Calculate Your WATER Bill

Water Consumption shown on bill is 6,531 gallons.

Calculation

Multiplier equals Gallons divided by 1,000 6,531 / 1,000 = 6.531
Water Use Charges equal Multiplier times Current Rate 6.531 X $3.57 = $23.31
Subtotal Water Use Charges plus Availability Charges $23.31 + $3.83 = $27.14
State Utility Tax equals Subtotal times .04 $27.14 X .04 = $1.08
Total Water Bill = Subtotal + State Utility Tax $27.14 + $1.08 = $28.22

TOTAL WATER BILL = $28.22

 

2. Calculate Your SEWER Bill

Water Consumption shown on bill is 6,531 gallons.

Calculation

Multiplier equals Gallons divided by 1,000 6,531 / 1,000 = 6.531
Sewer Charges equal Multiplier times Current Rate 6.531 X $3.56 = $23.24
Total Sewer Bill = Sewer Charges + Availability Charges $23.24 + $3.83 = $27.07

TOTAL SEWER BILL = $27.07
